Recently, Philippine Red Cross Million Volunteer Run 2 concluded one of the biggest charity run in the country wherein thousands of runners unleashed on Roxas Blvd last February 10, 2013. MVR2 “Run to Save Lives” staged simultaneously in different cities to spread their vision of providing timely and efficient humanitarian services to the most vulnerable. With the wholehearted overwhelming support of the participants the event was delivered successfully in the community and I witnessed the second precious accomplishments of the Philippine Red Cross.
The starting point was divided into two locations based on their respective distances, 5k assigned to start at the World Trade Center and the 3k is in CCP in front of Aliw theater, all of the participants will pass through Roxas Blvd until they reach the finish line located in Quirino Grandstand. I wasn’t able to participate but I still feel the cooperative endeavor and the unity of all the participants who showed their great support in the Philippine Red Cross. The stretch of Roxas Blvd filled with the color red by the students of different schools and universities, employees from different organizations and several legs of runners who took this opportunity to be part of this big event.

Congratulations to all the participants who supported MVR2! People behind this great charity run of Philippine Red Cross, kudos!
See you next year!
